The Nuggets had their chances two games in a row with fourth-quarter leads and they let both slip. Now they’re out of margin for error, and the Thunder can smell the finish line.

OKC’s comeback win in Game 5 wasn’t a fluke. This team has shown maturity beyond their years, closing games with poise while Denver fades late. Shai’s been steady, Chet’s anchoring the defense, and they’ve got Jokic working overtime just to keep it close. The Thunder’s defensive scheme is wearing Denver down especially their role players.

Jokic dropped 44 and 15 in Game 5, and they still couldn’t get it done. Why? Because the rest of the roster went ice cold just 17-for-59 from the field. Murray, Porter Jr., and the bench are running on fumes. Denver’s relying on a seven-man rotation while OKC’s staying fresher and making smarter adjustments.

Fatigue’s setting in, and with a chance to close this out, I’m backing the better-conditioned, more balanced team.

They’ve handled business in pressure spots all series, and with momentum + fresher legs, I see them finishing the job tonight in Denver.
