The Indiana Pacers had Game 3 in a headlock. Up by 20 in the first half, the home crowd roaring, and New York looking cooked. But as we’ve seen multiple times this postseason, the Knicks have made a habit of crawling out of deep holes. They stormed back to win 106 to 100 and now head into Tuesday night’s Game 4 with a chance to even the series.
That collapse wasn’t about how the Pacers started. It was about how they finished. And that’s exactly why I’m targeting Pacers First Half Moneyline for Game 4.
Indiana has come out firing in every home game this series. They built early leads in Games 1 and 3 with aggressive pace, smart shot selection, and Haliburton setting the tone right out of the gate.
But here’s the key: New York’s comeback formula starts slow and finishes strong. They’ve erased three separate 20-point deficits this postseason, including two in Boston and one in Indiana. But those comebacks have all started from big halftime holes.
This play is about momentum and trends. The Pacers are establishing dominance early at home. After blowing that Game 3 lead, Rick Carlisle will have this team locked in from the opening tip. Haliburton already put the blame on himself and should bounce back with sharper execution.
Nesmith’s ankle is something to monitor, but he returned late last game. Even if he’s limited, Indiana’s depth should be more than enough to keep pressure on a Knicks squad battling injuries to Brunson, Hart, and others.
Coach Thibodeau said it himself: “No lead is safe in playoff basketball.” That’s exactly why we’re focusing on the start, not the finish.
Pacers First Half Moneyline is the best way to attack Game 4.
Start strong. Get the edge. Beat the books early.
