The Pacers are one win away from putting the Knicks on life support, but I’m not buying a New York collapse just yet especially not on offense.

They’re down 0-2, heading to Indy, and the urgency is through the roof. You’ve got Jalen Brunson out here putting up MVP level numbers, dropping 43 and 36 in the first two games. The man’s carrying this squad, and he knows Game 3 is do or die.

New York has to push the pace and stay aggressive for four quarters. They’ve hit 109+ points in both games so far, even with the Pacers throwing different looks defensively. It hasn’t mattered. The Knicks still found a way to score 135 in Game 1 (OT) and 109 in Game 2—and that was with missed opportunities late.

Now, heading into a rowdy Gainbridge Fieldhouse fresh off the Indy 500, you know the energy’s going to be insane, but so will the Knicks’ desperation. Expect Brunson to keep doing his thing, and guys like Josh Hart, DiVincenzo, and even Mitchell Robinson to step up.
