Cardinals Moneyline is the Play Tonight

The Reds might be feeling themselves after winning 9 of their last 12, but let’s not ignore the bigger picture this team has struggled badly inside the NL Central. They’ve won just one division series all year, and that was over two months ago against the Pirates. Since then, they’ve gone 1-6-1 in division matchups. Not exactly dominance.

Cincinnati rolls into St. Louis to face a Cardinals squad that just swept the White Sox and has won four of their last five. They’re starting to get hot again, and they’re back at home where they’ve been much more reliable.

Andre Pallante is expected to start for St. Louis, and he’s owned the Reds in his career 5-2 with a 2.18 ERA in 16 appearances. Meanwhile, Brady Singer takes the mound for Cincy. He’s had issues with this Cards lineup in limited action, going 0-2 with a 4.00 ERA in just 9 innings.
