Seattle Seahawks vs Pittsburgh SteelersNFL picks and predictions for this Week 6 Sunday Night Football game.

Seahawks vs Pittsburgh odds

This Sunday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks vs Pittsburgh Steelers is set to kickoff October 17, 2021 at 8:20pm at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

The latest DraftKings NFL Odds have the Steelers -220 on the money line and a -5 point favorite against the spread. The over/under is currently at 42.5 total points.

The betting public currently has 66% of their money behind Pittsburgh as the home favorite.

Seattle Seahawks betting preview

The Seattle Seahawks come into this game 2-3 overall this NFL Season and in desperate need of a win, but it’s going to be tough since last week in their 26-17 loss against the Rams, their MVP Quarterback Russell Wilson injured his finger. He’s been ruled out for the next few game and fans not be able to see he play until they Week 10 game against the Packers.

Now for the next 3 weeks backup quarterback Geno Smith will try to be the next star in Seattle. I’ve never been the biggest Geno fan, but I’m hoping he’s able to play at least ok to keep his job. When Geno came in the game last Sunday, he showed glimpses of hope, but then he do the usual stupid mistakes to mess up any momentum he was showing.

On top of Wilson out, Running back Chris Carson is listed as questionable because he’s dealing with that neck issue. Alex Collins will continue to fill in for Carson and over the last two games, he’s been very dependable.

I actually have a prop bet going on one the Seahawks Players in this game, so make sure you text “prop” to 702-234-0597 and I’ll reply back to everyone a few hours before the officially kickoff with this free prop play.  I know we dropped our 1-unit prop on Thursday Night and we have the 3-unit prop pending while doing this video, but at the end of the week everyone following these props should end up in the green.

Right now, Seattle has the 13th ranked offense in the league. They are scoring an average of 24 points per game. On defense. The Seahawks are giving up an average of 25.2 points per game, which put that ranked #21 out of the 32 NFL teams.

Seattle is 2-5 against the spread in their last 7 games and the total has gone under in 6 of the Seahawks last 7 games on the road.

Pittsburgh Steelers betting preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers come in this matchup also sitting at 2-3 overall this season after the big home win last Sunday 27-19 against the Broncos. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 253 total yards and 2 touchdowns but didn’t play his best game at all.

Running back Najee Harris came up huge with 23 carries for 122 total yards. You’ll most likely see those type of numbers again for this game because last week Pittsburgh wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster injured his shoulder and unfortunately now out for the rest of the season.

Pittsburgh has been struggling to get their offense going this year and they currently have the fifth worst offense in the league, that puts up only an average of 18.8 total points per game.

Thankfully this Steelers defense are able to keep them in these games by only allowing an average of 22.4 points per game, which currently puts their defense ranked 10th overall in the league.

The Steelers are 4-8 against the spread in their last 12 games and the total has gone under in 7 of Pittsburgh’s last 8 games against an opponent in the NFC.
