NFL Preseason Picks and Predictions going on this Thursday Night, August 3rd, 2023 Hall of Fame game between the New York Jets vs Cleveland Browns.
This game is set to kickoff at 8:00pm et at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The NFL odds have the Jets listed as a -2 point favorite against the spread and -125 on the moneyline. The over/under is currently at 33.5 total points.

The Jets come into this season pumped up because they landed an all time great, Aaron Rodgers. Backup Quarterback Zach Wilson is still looking to prove himself and you should see him get the majority all of the first half snaps. Keep in mind that last preseason, Wilson ended up getting injured and wasn’t able to play in the first few games of 2022.
The New York fans will also probably see, Defensive end Will McDonald, who was picked 15th overall in the draft this year. McDonald did bang up his leg early in camp, but he should be recovered by now from injury and be ok to play this Thursday Night.
Now on the other side of the field, you’ll have the Cleveland Browns. They finished with a 7-10 record in 2022, missing the playoffs for the second straight year.
This season they’ll be under a brand new defensive system lead by Jim Schwartz. The Browns will have a younger squad of edge rushers and the reports coming out of their camp are saying that they’re looking very good, so I’m definitely excited to see how successful they’ll be getting to the backfield in this matchup.
Dobbs, who is currently Clevelands’ No. 2 quarterback, will take the night off as the Browns opt to take a closer look at Kellen Mond and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson.Kellen Mond is set to play in the first half while rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson will play in the second half. Last season, Mond was the third string quarterback, but did not suit up for the Browns at all.
