The Cincinnati Bengals come into this game winning their last two games in a row and now sit second in the AFC North at 4-3 overall. Last Sunday for their Week 7 game against the Atlanta Falcons, they got the 35-17 win. In that matchup, Joe Burrow had a monster performance. He went 34 of 42 completions for 481 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions.
Speaking of interceptions, my Player Prop of the Day isn’t going on Joe Burrow, but it is going on the Browns Quarterback Jacoby Brissett. I’m taking Brissett to throw an interception at the -115 price.
Remember that Cincinnati will be without their stud wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. He’s unfortunately on IR for at least a month after fracturing his hip and tearing his labrum.
Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins will now need to really increase their productivity to fill that void of being without Chase on the field. Tight end Hayden Hurst was limited on Friday’s practice, but you should expect him getting action this Monday Night.
Cincinnati currently has the 8th ranked offense in the NFL right now, that’s scoring an average of 24.7 points per game. They also have the 6th best defense in the league, that’s only giving up an average of 18.9 points per game.
The Bengals are 8-1 against the spread in their last 9 games on the road and the total has gone under in 5 of Cincinnati’s last 5 games against an opponent in the AFC.
Cleveland Browns Game Analysis:
The Cleveland Browns now have lost their last 4 games in a row and are in desperate need of a big win tonight. Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, Quarterback Jacoby Brissett went 22 of 27 for 258 passing yards and running back Nick Chubb had 16 carries for 91 rushing yards, but they still couldn’t pull off the big road upset.
Chubb continues playing very impressive and I’m a fan of his. After this matchup, he’ll go back to leading the NFL in rushing and since they might be without their star tight end of the field, you might want to look at that anytime touchdown prop play on him at the minus one twenty five price. I haven’t put it in yet, but it’s definitely something I’ve been eyeing tonight.
Cleveland this season is putting up an average of 24 points per game, but their defense has been really struggling all season long. Their defense is currently ranked 28th out of 32 teams and they’re giving up an average of 26.6 points per game.
The Bengals are 5-10 against the spread in their last 15 games and the total has gone over in 4 of Cleveland’s last 5 games against an opponent in the AFC.
