The NFL odds have Kansas City listed as a -9 point favorite against the spread. The over/under is sitting at 47 total points.

The NFL betting public currently have 71% of their money behind the Denver Broncos as the road underdogs.

These two teams face each other last year where Kansas City as a -13 point home favorite failed to cover the spread but did get the 22-16 win.

Kansas City has won all 11 games played against Denver since 2005 and in those games have outscored them by an average of 13 points.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview

Denver comes into this game sitting at 6-5 overall and tied with the Chargers and the Raiders in the AFC West. This Sunday game is a must win for the Broncos if they want any chance of trying to make the playoffs this season. They pulled off a big home win last week 28-13 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

They won that last game because they were able to go 8 of 11 of third down conversions while limiting their penalties to just 35 yards and stopping the Chargers run game by holding them to only 72 total yards on the ground.

The bad news this week is that Denver’s starting running back Melvin Gordon has been listed as doubtful with shoulder and hip injuries. You’ll most likely see rookie running back Javonte Williams get the start instead.

When playing on the road this season, the Denver Broncos have the fourth best defense in the league, that’s only giving up an average of 17.2 points per game while their offense is scoring an average of 22.6 points per game.

The Broncos are 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games against an opponent in the AFC and the total has gone under in 9 of Denver’s last 11 games this season.

Kansas City Chiefs Betting Preview

Kansas City comes into this game still at the top of the AFC West after winning their last four games in a row, which puts them now 7-4 overall and 4-2 at home this season.

They had a bye week, so Coach Andy Reid should have them well prepared for this Broncos team.

In their last game, they got the 10 points home win against the Cowboys. They held the Cowboys to just 276 total yards and only 9 points.

For this game, cornerback Rashad Fenton and offensive lineman Lucas Niang (have been ruled out and starting running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is listed as questionable.

The key for them to cover this spread will be the turnovers. They currently have 22 giveaways so far this season, which make them one of the worst teams in the league.

At home this 2021 NFL Season, the Chiefs are in the middle of the pack both offensively and defensive. They are scoring an average of 21.5 points per game while giving up and average of 21.7 points per game.
