Bengals Titans NFL Betting Preview:
The Bengals come into this game full of momentum after Joe Burrow led them to their first playoff win in over 30 years last Saturday night in the 26-19 NFL Wild Card game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Titans on the hand went 12-5 in the regular season to earn that AFC top seed and the first round bye last week.
You should fully expect them to be will rested and prepared for the Bengals.
Last Saturday in that Wild Card game against the Raiders, Cincinnati’s quarterback Joe Burrow put up 244 total passing yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions, but the real story of the game was the Bengals defense who caused has some key sacks, interceptions and that one lost fumbled.
The bad news is that defensive tackle Mike Daniels injured in groin in the first quarter and is doubtful to play in this matchup.
Plus defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi will missed the remainder of the season after injury his foot in the third quarter.
On top of those two injuries, defensive end Trey Hendrickson is currently listed as questionable after suffering a concussion last week.
In the last 3 games this season Cincinnati has scored an average of 25.3 points while giving up an average of 23.7 points on defense.
Cincinnati is 6-1 against the spread in their last 7 games on the road and the total has gone over in 4 of the Bengals last 5 games against an opponent in the AFC South.
With all the injuries to the Bengals defense, the Titans look for their stud running back Derrick Henry to make his return from injury for this game.
Coach Mike Vrabel on Saturday said that you should fully expect Derrick Henry to be on the field and at full capacity after he was cleared to return to practice back in Week 18.
You have to give it up for Running back D’Onta Foreman who has really done his part in Henry’s absence and you should expect him to continue playing his part to possibly give these Titans a chance to go to the Super Bowl.
I’ll be monitoring the status of Henry since our Saturday NFL player prop will be going on either Henry or Foreman. If you want free access to this prop bet, just text the letters “RB” to 702-234-0597 and I’ll reply to every text once this NFL Player Prop Bet is officially released.
In the last 3 games this season the Titans scored an average of 27.3 points per game while having the second best defense in the league only giving up an average of 15 points in those 3 games.
The Titans are 7-1 straight up in their last 8 games at home and the total has gone over in 7 of Tennessee’s last 8 games when playing at home against Cincinnati.
